I Have A Thought...

I'm thinking about doing Diana's swirl baby blanket with cables on every other panel.

Random Thought

How about a sew as you go cable border? I think it could work as long as you twisted the cable on the rows you didn't pick up. I'll have to try it.

Hmm...

While I'm thinking about cables, I wonder how the swirl baby blanket would look in an all over cable pattern? Once again careful charting is needed.

Idea...

What if I used Diana's tam pattern and added cables? It would take some careful charting, but in theory it could be done. I think it would look really classy and make it look more hand knit. I'll have to try it once we get my machines set up in the new house.

Moving Anxiety

I'm about to lose my mind! I have so much to do before we move. Have to finish cleaning the oven in the morning, need to finish packing in the morning. Need to switch over utilities and let all the appropriate people know about our address change. All the while dealing with two kids and an impatient husband. I'm hoping things will go back to normal after Christmas.

Enchanted Christmas Results

Well, Downtown's annual Enchanted Christmas didn't go as well as I had hoped. We only sold $27. :( Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it coincided with the craft show at the Civic Center. So everyone who was in the market for knitted items went to the Civic Center in the warmth instead of braving the cold weather Downtown. Oh, well, we got some ideas for next year. Definitely going to make mittens and earflap hats.

Enchanted Christmas

Enchanted Christmas in downtown Lebanon tomorrow night. This will be my breaking out into the knitting business. I hope I am able to sell all my product. It's supposed to be cold, so there should be a demand for my knitted hats, scarves, and blankets. We'll see...
